Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly analytical and strategic Senior Supply Chain Planner to lead demand forecasting, inventory planning, and supply chain optimization efforts. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring product availability, minimizing supply chain risks, and driving operational excellence through data-driven decision-making and strong vendor collaboration.

What will you do:

1. Demand Planning
• Analyze historical sales data, market trends, and customer insights to develop accurate demand forecasts.
• Collaborate with commercial, marketing, and finance teams to align forecast assumptions and business plans.
2. Inventory Management
• Develop inventory strategies to balance service levels, working capital, and supply chain costs.
• Monitor and optimize stock levels across the network to avoid overstocking or stockouts.
3. Supply Chain Optimization
• Identify and implement opportunities to improve supply chain processes, reduce lead times, and enhance overall efficiency.
• Utilize advanced planning tools and analytics to support decision-making and scenario modeling.
4. Risk Management
• Proactively assess risks related to supply or demand volatility, supplier performance, and external disruptions.
• Develop and implement contingency plans to mitigate operational risks.
5. Vendor & Supplier Management
• Build strong relationships with key suppliers and logistics partners.
• Negotiate favorable terms, lead time reductions, and service level agreements.
6. Performance Monitoring & Analysis
• Define and track key supply chain KPIs such as forecast accuracy, fill rate, inventory turnover, and OTIF (On-Time In-Full).
• Generate reports and dashboards to support cross-functional visibility and accountability.
7. Continuous Improvement
• Lead or participate in cross-functional initiatives aimed at process improvement and operational excellence.
• Apply lean, Six Sigma, or other relevant methodologies to streamline planning processes.
8. Technology Enablement
• Leverage supply chain management systems (e.g. ERP, APS, WMS) to improve planning accuracy and responsiveness.
• Drive the adoption of digital tools and automation within planning and fulfillment functions.
What will make you successful:
• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Industrial Engineering, Business, or a related field (master’s preferred).
• 5+ years of experience in supply chain planning, preferably in e-commerce, retail, or FMCG sectors.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel, SQL, and planning tools (e.g. SAP IBP, Oracle, Kinaxis, or similar).
• Demonstrated experience with demand forecasting, inventory optimization, and supplier collaboration.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Knowledge of supply chain risk management and continuous improvement frameworks is a plus.
