What is this role?

You will be a crucial part of our Finance team. As a Finance Director, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing financial planning strategies to support the organization's goals and objectives, which would entail following responsibilities:

Job Description :

• Financial Planning and Analysis:
• Develop and implement financial planning strategies to support the organization's goals and objectives
• Conduct comprehensive financial analysis, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and scenario modeling, to provide insights and recommendations to senior management
• Prepare annual budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans in alignment with the organization's strategic objectives
• Financial Reporting and Compliance:
• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, in accordance with IFRS or applicable accounting standards
• Oversee internal and external financial reporting processes, including coordination with auditors and regulatory agencies
• Ensure compliance with all financial regulations, laws, and standards, and implement internal controls to mitigate financial risks
• Cash Flow Management:
• Manage cash flow and liquidity to meet operational requirements and optimize working capital
• Implement effective cash management strategies, including cash forecasting, investment management, and debt financing
• Strategic Financial Leadership:
• Provide strategic financial leadership and guidance to senior management and department heads
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute strategic initiatives, business plans, and investment decisions
• Identify opportunities for cost optimization, revenue enhancement, and profit maximization
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; CMA, CPA and/or CFA preferred
• Proven experience as director of finance or similar role
• In-depth knowledge of corporate finance and accounting principles, laws and best practices
• Solid knowledge of financial analysis and forecasting
• An analytical mind with a strategic ability
