Job Summary
We are hiring Business Performance Managers to drive strategic, analytical, and operational excellence in our ride hailing business. This is a fast-paced, high-impact role that requires a data-driven, results-oriented mindset to solve complex business challenges and optimize key performance metrics.
You will be responsible for analyzing key business metrics, identifying opportunities for growth and efficiency, and executing data-driven initiatives. Your focus may include regional performance, vehicle segment performance, or system-wide improvements, depending on your background, strengths, and company needs.
This role requires strong analytical thinking, cross-functional collaboration, team management, the ability to work in small teams, and independently when needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Apply data-driven decision-making and structured problem-solving to improve business performance.
- Analyze real-time business data to track efficiency, profitability, and operational effectiveness.
- Optimize pricing, incentives, and other levers concerning marketplace strategies to maximize growth.
- Work across Operations, Product, Marketing, and Finance teams to align strategies and execute initiatives.
- Manage projects with clear deadlines, ensuring measurable impact and operational success.
- Own end-to-end execution of business improvements, balancing short-term fixes with long-term solutions.
- Provide regular business reviews and insights to senior leadership.
- Work independently or in small teams as required to drive execution in a high-speed environment.
Qualifications
Required skills:
- 5+ years of experience in business analysis, strategy, operations, consulting (mobility, e-commerce, or similar consumer facing, technology driven industry focus preferred).
- Experience in team management, including the ability to lead projects and work collaboratively across teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to break down complex issues into structured solutions.
- Ability to work independently or in small teams and drive projects forward with a results-oriented mindset.
- Experience using data to drive business decisions (Excel, SQL, Tableau, or similar tools).
- Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Product, Marketing, and Finance teams.
- Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines in a fast-moving environment.
Additional skills (plus if you have)
- Background in top tier strategy consulting, or investment banking
- Experience in high-growth startups, mobility, transportation, or logistics industries.
- Strong understanding of double sided marketplace dynamics, pricing models, and operational efficiency.
