Responsibilities: The Operations & Treasury Lead is responsible for managing the end-to-end finance processes related to Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Order-to-Cash (O2C) and Treasury. This role ensures operational accuracy in financial transactions with vendors and customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Procure-to-Pay (P2P)
- Oversee the accounts payable function, including invoice processing, payment scheduling, and vendor reconciliations.
- Ensure timely and accurate posting of supplier invoices and credit notes.
- Coordinate with procurement and operations teams to resolve discrepancies and optimize the purchasing process.
- Order-to-Cash (O2C)
- Supervise accounts receivable, billing.
- Ensure proper application of receipts and timely customer invoicing.
- Monitor O2C KPIs such as days sales outstanding (DSO), billing accuracy, and collection effectiveness.
- Collaborate with sales and other departments to resolve billing disputes.
- Treasury and Operational Control
- Develop and enforce internal controls across P2P and O2C cycles to mitigate risks.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations (VAT, withholding, etc.), accounting standards, and company policies.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities, bank reconciliations, and reporting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; professional certification (CPA, CMA, ACCA) is a plus.
- 5+ years of experience in finance operations, treasury, or related roles, preferably in a multinational or fast-paced environment.
- Strong knowledge of P2P and O2C cycles, accounts payable/receivable, treasury management, and financial controls.
- Solid understanding of tax regulations (VAT, withholding, etc.) and accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP).
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Proven ability to develop and implement internal controls to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work cross-functionally with sales, procurement, and operations teams.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities.
- Fluency in English; Arabic is an advantage.
