Syarah is looking for a Purchasing Manager – Individual to lead the sourcing and acquisition of vehicles directly from individuals. The role is critical in building a scalable consumer purchasing operation by ensuring competitive buying prices, strong seller experience, and consistent inventory supply.

Responsibilities:

    • Lead purchasing operations for cars sourced directly from individuals.
    • Evaluate vehicles, pricing, and market demand to ensure profitable acquisitions.
    • Negotiate purchase prices with individual sellers.
    • Manage the full purchasing cycle: inspection, pricing, documentation, and handover.
    • Develop and improve sourcing channels to attract individual sellers.
    • Work closely with pricing, operations, logistics, and inspection teams.
    • Monitor market prices and competitor activity.
    • Ensure a smooth, transparent, and trustworthy seller experience.
    • Track purchasing KPIs such as cost, margin, turnaround time, and inventory quality.
  • 5–10 years of experience in automotive purchasing, buying, or trade-in operations.
  • Strong knowledge of vehicle valuation, pricing, and market trends.
  • Hands-on experience dealing directly with individual sellers.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Strong operational and analytical mindset.
  • Fluent in Arabic; English is a plus.
