Position Overview:
The Junior Accountant is responsible for managing the end-to-end payment process for purchased vehicles. This role ensures that all required documents are complete, accurate, and properly submitted, and that payments to customers are processed quickly and efficiently in coordination with the purchasing and finance teams.
Responsibilities:
- Collect and verify all required documents related to vehicle purchases (inspection reports, ownership documents, customer ID, agreements, etc.)
- Act as the main point of coordination between the Purchasing and Finance departments
- Prepare and upload payment requests to the banking system
- Ensure all payment details are accurate before submission for approval
- Follow up on pending approvals to avoid delays in customer payments
- Maintain organized digital and physical records of all transactions
- Communicate with internal teams to resolve any missing or incorrect information
- Support continuous improvement of the payment process to reduce turnaround time
- Ensure compliance with company policies and financial procedures
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in a related field with experience in banking and payment systems.
- 1–3 years of experience in operations, finance coordination, or admin roles
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to handle sensitive financial data with confidentiality
- Good communication skills and ability to coordinate across teams
- Familiarity with banking platforms or payment systems is a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
