Role Overview

As a High Value Merchants Manager at Taager.com, you will be responsible for managing and growing relationships with our top merchants in the Saudi market. You’ll act as a main point of contact for these merchants, support them with insights and solutions, and lead a team to help them grow and succeed on the platform.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team of Key Account Managers focused on high-value merchant portfolios in KSA.

  • Set and track team KPIs, ensuring high performance and accountability.

  • Provide coaching, development, and strategic guidance to team members.

  • Align team efforts with Taager’s broader KSA growth plans and commercial goals.

  • Own and implement the merchant growth roadmap for HVM in the KSA market.

  • Analyze merchant data at scale to identify growth opportunities and challenges.

  • Oversee development of tailored strategies for high-impact merchants.

  • Collaborate with marketplace, commercial, and operations teams to unlock cross-functional growth opportunities.

  • Monitor merchant and SKU-level profitability across the team’s portfolio.
  • Identify margin improvement opportunities via pricing optimization and sales uplift.

  • Drive performance management frameworks to track and enhance merchant success.

  • Lead strategic communications with key merchants, including business reviews, planning sessions, and joint growth initiatives.

  • Act as an escalation point and trusted partner for critical merchant concerns.

  • Ensure merchant feedback and requirements are relayed to internal teams (tech, ops, logistics, finance) for fast resolution.

  • Foster long-term merchant engagement through proactive relationship building and strategic alignment.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience in key account management, merchant success, or commercial roles within e-commerce or marketplace platforms.

  • Previous experience managing a team is required. Minimum 1 year of experience in a management role.

  • Strong knowledge of the KSA market.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.
