Position Summary
We are seeking a creative and proficient Mid-Level Video Editor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transforming raw footage and assets into compelling, high-quality video content that aligns with our brand vision and engages our target audience across multiple platforms. You will play a key role in the post-production process, from initial assembly to final delivery, ensuring every project meets our high standards of creativity and technical excellence.
What will you do:
- Edit and produce a wide range of video content, including social media clips, digital advertisements, internal communications, and other marketing materials.
- Execute all aspects of post-production, including cutting, sequencing, trimming, color correction, color grading, audio mixing, and sound design to ensure a polished final product.
- Create and integrate basic motion graphics, typography, and visual effects using Adobe After Effects to enhance storytelling.
- Collaborate closely with the creative team, including producers, designers, and marketers, to develop concepts and bring creative visions to life.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment, ensuring timely delivery against tight deadlines and quick turnaround times.
- Maintain and organize media assets, project files, and video archives.
- Stay current with the latest video trends, editing techniques, and platform specifications.
What will make you successful:
- 2–3 years of professional video editing experience, with a strong portfolio demonstrating a range of styles and projects.
- Expert proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and solid working knowledge of Adobe After Effects.
- Demonstrated skill in color grading and basic sound editing/design to create a cohesive and professional viewer experience.
- Proven ability to thrive under pressure, manage time effectively, and adapt to changing priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
- Exceptional attention to detail, with a strong creative eye for composition, pacing, and storytelling.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Nice to Have:
- Experience creating advanced motion graphics and animations.
- Familiarity with other Adobe Creative Suite applications (Photoshop, Illustrator, Media Encoder).
- Experience editing for a brand, agency, or media company.
