About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Data Analyst (Product) to transform data into actionable insights that drive product strategy and business growth. You will partner with product managers, business stakeholders, and engineering teams to measure product performance, identify opportunities, and support data-informed decision-making across the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with product managers and business stakeholders to define metrics, KPIs, and success criteria for product initiatives.
- Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities that inform product roadmap and business strategy.
- Build and maintain comprehensive dashboards and reports to track product performance, user behavior, and business metrics.
- Support A/B testing initiatives by analyzing experiment results and providing actionable recommendations.
- Conduct deep-dive analyses to understand user journeys, conversion funnels, and feature adoption.
- Translate complex data findings into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders through presentations and reports.
- Collaborate with data engineers to ensure data quality and implement new data tracking requirements.
Required Skills:
- Advanced proficiency in SQL for complex queries, joins, and aggregations across large datasets.
- Strong experience with Python for data analysis and statistical analysis.
- Hands-on experience with dbt for data transformation and modeling.
- Expertise in data visualization tools (e.g., Metabase, Tableau) and building insightful dashboards.
- Solid understanding of product analytics frameworks (e.g., funnels, cohort analysis, retention metrics).
- Knowledge of statistical concepts including descriptive statistics, correlation, and basic hypothesis testing.
- Experience analyzing A/B test results and understanding statistical significance.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills to present findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of product development lifecycle and user experience principles.
