Taager is the first B2B startup focused on social sellers- Merchants. We are democratizing the social e-commerce space by enabling budding as well as seasoned entrepreneurs to sell online with no required capital, inventory, or operational experience. We have our Merchants covered from merchandising, warehousing, shipping, cash collection and customer service.

In 2019 we started as a team of 8 people, now we are over 350 employees across Egypt, KSA and the UAE. We serve more than 34K social e-commerce sellers from incredibly diverse backgrounds – from students earning a part-time income to highly ambitious digital marketing experts looking to become solo entrepreneurs. The sellers on our platform benefit from access to 2,500+ highly marketable products. Role Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated, strategic, and results-driven Senior Account Manager to join our growing team. In this high-impact role, you will take ownership of our most critical merchant relationships, acting as a strategic partner and trusted advisor to drive their exponential growth on the Taager platform. You will lead the development of high-level performance strategies, optimize complex product assortments, and leverage advanced data insights to maximize sales, profitability, and long-term merchant loyalty.

What will you do:

  • Strategic Relationship Management: Own and nurture a portfolio of key merchant accounts, serving as their primary point of contact and executive-level strategic advisor to ensure long-term partnership and success.
  • Performance Strategy & Execution: Collaborate with senior merchant stakeholders to architect and implement customized, data-driven performance plans that align with Taager’s commercial objectives and drive merchant revenue.
  • Incentive Program Leadership: Design, negotiate, and manage sophisticated incentive programs and promotional campaigns to maximize merchant adoption, engagement, and return on investment (ROI).
  • Commercial Partnership: Partner with internal commercial and category teams to optimize product assortment strategies based on merchant sales capabilities, market trends, and sales run rate targets.
  • Best Practice Implementation: Identify, develop, and scale best practices across your portfolio, mentoring merchants on advanced platform strategies to elevate their operational efficiency and sales performance.
  • Internal Advocacy & Cross-Functional Leadership: Serve as the "voice of the merchant" internally, leading cross-functional collaboration with Marketing, Operations, and Product teams to resolve complex issues and align on strategic sales and operational targets.
  • Data-Driven Insights: Utilize advanced data analytics to generate actionable insights, forecast performance trends, and deliver high-impact recommendations that enhance merchant profitability and platform optimization.

What will make you successful:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in account management, client success, or business development, with a strong preference for candidates who have managed key accounts within the e-commerce, SaaS, or marketplace industries.
  • Proven track record of building, scaling, and maintaining high-value client relationships, managing complex negotiations, and handling executive-level communications.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with a demonstrated ability to synthesize complex data sets into clear, actionable strategic narratives for senior stakeholders.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and present confidently to external partners and internal leadership
