Role Summary:
We’re looking for a Mid-Level QA Engineer to join our Quality Assurance team at Taager. This is a full-time, fully remote role where you’ll play a key part in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products across mobile, web, and backend systems. As a QA Engineer, you will be responsible for test execution, test design, and automation, while maintaining high-quality standards across the development lifecycle.
What will you do:
- Perform manual testing for web and mobile applications to ensure functionality, usability, and performance
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright
- Continuously improve test automation frameworks to increase coverage, efficiency, and reliability
- Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and QA team members to define and refine test scenarios
- Create and maintain clear, comprehensive test cases and documentation
- Execute API testing and validate backend services
- Participate in test planning, strategy, and estimation activities
- Conduct system, integration, performance, and stress testing
- Track and manage bugs using Jira, ensuring clear reporting and follow-up
- Contribute to improving overall QA processes and best practices
What will make you successful:
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in both manual and automation testing
- Strong experience in mobile and web application testing
- Proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript (preferred for Playwright)
- Hands-on experience with Playwright for test automation
- Experience in API testing (preferably using tools like Rest Assured or similar)
- Familiarity with Git and CI/CD tools
- Experience with Jira or similar test/bug tracking tools
- Solid understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices
Nice to Have
- Experience using AI tools to enhance testing workflows
- Familiarity with performance testing tools and practices
