About the Role
As an Account Manager, you will manage and grow a portfolio of mid- and high-value merchants. You will leverage data to identify growth opportunities, improve merchant performance, and provide strategic recommendations around product selection, pricing, and campaign optimization.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to execute growth initiatives, monitor business performance, and ensure merchant success. The role also involves reactivating low-performing merchants, resolving escalations, and delivering regular business reviews to drive sustainable growth and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow a portfolio of high- and mid-value merchants to achieve sales and profitability targets.
- Analyze merchant data to identify trends, challenges, and growth opportunities.
- Support merchants with product selection, pricing strategies, and campaign performance improvement.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Marketing, Commercial, Operations, and Media Buying) to execute growth initiatives.
- Monitor key metrics such as confirmation rate, ad performance, and ROI.
- Reactivate inactive or low-performing merchants through targeted action plans.
- Provide commercial insights and regular business reviews to merchants.
- Handle merchant escalations and ensure high satisfaction levels.
- Track performance and prepare reports on growth impact and profitability.
What Will Make You Successful?
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Account Management, Sales, Business Development, or a related client-facing role, preferably within the e-commerce industry.
- Proven track record of building and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to translate data insights into actionable strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- Demonstrated proficiency in customer relationship management (CRM) best practices.
- Fluency in English (written and verbal).
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
