About the role:

As a Merchant Acquisition Lead, you will be responsible for driving the growth of Taager's merchant network by identifying, acquiring, onboarding, and activating high-potential sellers. You will own the end-to-end merchant acquisition journey, from building strategic pipelines and converting prospects to helping merchants maximize their performance on the platform. Working closely with Account Management, Marketing, and Commercial teams, you will leverage data, market insights, and relationship-building skills to accelerate merchant growth, improve acquisition efficiency, and contribute directly to Taager's business objectives.

What will you do:

  • Achieve monthly targets for new merchant acquisition, activation, and order generation.
  • Build and manage a pipeline of potential merchants through outbound and inbound channels.
  • Conduct onboarding sessions and ensure newly acquired merchants launch successfully on the platform.
  • Work closely with Account Management teams to ensure smooth handover and merchant retention.
  • Identify high-potential merchants and develop growth plans to increase their order volume.
  • Analyze merchant performance metrics and provide recommendations to improve sales and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with Marketing teams to attract quality merchants and improve acquisition efficiency.
  • Gather market intelligence on competitors, products, and seller needs.
  • Prepare business performance reports and acquisition forecasts.

What Will Make You Successful

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Commerce, or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in Business Development, Sales, Merchant Acquisition, or Account Management.
  • Experience in e-commerce, dropshipping, marketplaces, or digital advertising is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales and growth targets.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
