Job Brief

  • We are seeking a highly motivated and proactive Market Expansion Intern to support our international expansion efforts. You will work closely with the Country Launch Manager to conduct in-depth market research, assist in developing comprehensive business plans, and contribute to the successful launch of our services in new countries. This role involves taking detailed meeting minutes, creating financial forecasts and budgets, and aligning with potential partners and vendors. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a keen interest in international business development.

Job Description:

  • Conduct comprehensive market research to identify potential target markets, analyse competitor landscapes, and assess regulatory environments for new country launches.
  • Assist in the development of detailed business plans, including market entry strategies, financial projections, and operational frameworks.
  • Create and manage financial forecasts and budgets for new country launches, ensuring accurate tracking of expenses and revenue projections.
  • Take detailed and accurate minutes during meetings with internal teams, partners, and vendors, and ensure timely distribution of action items.
  • Support the Country Launch Manager in identifying, evaluating, and aligning with potential partners and vendors, including conducting due diligence and negotiating contracts.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams (e.g., marketing, legal, compliance) to ensure seamless execution of launch plans.
  • Prepare and present reports on market research findings, launch progress, and financial performance.
  • Assist in the development of presentations and other materials for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage project timelines and milestones, ensuring adherence to deadlines and deliverables.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices related to international expansion and market entry.

Job Specification:

  • A current student from Finance, Business and other relevant areas will be considered.
  • Experience in the financial services industry (Bank, FinTech, etc.)
  • Excellent English language skills
  • Fluency with Google Suite/Microsoft Office Suite: Previous experience needed.
  • Analytical and project management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
